CYCLE AGAINST SUICIDE 2017- Coming to Dundalk April 23rd

SOSAD Dundalk and St Vincent’s School are helping to organise this event and are seeking volunteers under the Homestay Programme to provide a welcome bed for the tired cyclists for one night.

The cycle against suicide initiative was set up by Irish entrepreneur Jim Breen who featured on RTE’s secret millionaire.

The cycles main objective is to raise awareness of the considerable help and supports that are available for anyone battling depression, self harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide. The cycle against suicide community is determined to let people in every corner of the island of Ireland know that: Its ok not to feel ok; and its absolutely ok to ask for help.
The Homestay Programme is a great way to support and help with out actually getting on a bike yourself. So we are asking people if they live in Dundalk and surrounding areas Blackrock/ Haggardsstown/ Lordship etc if they could offer a bed for one night to contact dundalkhomestays@gmail.com
