I am delighted to say that last week I paid a visit to Sunhill Nursing Home in Termonfeckin County Louth where I met some of the wonderful Staff and Residents.
I was shown the current building works being undertaken by the owners of the Nursing home . Once such works are completed Sunhill will have an extra 22 individual Rooms bringing the total number of beds in the Nursing Home to 92. This in turn will create 30 extra vacancies for staff. Given that the nursing home is already the biggest employer in the area of Termonfeckin the total staff employed will be 101 which will give a great boost to the area.
I have seen first hand the level of care and professionalism that the Management and Staff provide to their residents in all aspects of their lives. The recent works carried out in the existing building over the last 12 to 18 months with courtyard gardens and the fully integrated use of smart technology, I believe provides a holistic Nursing and Convalescence care that ensures the Residents continue to have an active role in their families and their community with the full support in doing so.
I want to congratulate Vincent & Jill McDonald the owners of Sunhill Nursing Home, who already provide one of the best Nursing, Convalescence and Healthcare providers within the region but also to commend them on their foresight and fortitude of ensuring that the extension will continue in Sunhill Nursing Home being one of the leading care home providers in the North East Region.
