The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges for businesses in Ireland and across the globe. The new circumstances have presented great difficulties for employers and employees alike.
While long term planning is urgently required, and substantial additional supports will be needed, there are steps businesses can take now to try help alleviate some of the financial issues they are experiencing and hopefully put them in a position to re-open once Government restrictions are lifted.
I have attached the latest document drafted by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, which outlines key supports and resources available to help businesses impacted by COVID-19.
The Department is also operating a Business Support Call Centre to advise on the Government supports available to businesses and enterprises that are affected by COVID-19. The Call Centre can be contacted
